Vinod K. V.
EMS Group CEO
As the CEO and a founding member at EMS Leisure, Vinod is instrumental in the firm’s progressive vision and ongoing growth. Counting nearly three decades of diverse experience, his global strategy drives EMS Leisure’s reputation as a leading player in building sustainably designed, investor-focused homes with emphasis on community engagement and outreach programs.
Originally from India and based out of Dubai in the U. A. E., he shuttles between the Middle East and the subcontinent, maintaining family and business interests whilst managing the firms’ investments in Sri Lanka, with a mandate to foster a diverse portfolio of thriving companies.
Complementing his role at the helm of EMS Leisure, Vinod displays considerable passion in mentoring aspiring professionals both within and outside of EMS, with talent, skill and career development in focus.
Ayodhya Perera
Project Director
Carrying extensive multidisciplinary experience in the Construction Industry, Ayodhya specializes in areas such as Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, Procurement and Mechanical Engineering.
In his role as Project Director, he draws on a sound professional and academic background. An Associate Member of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Sri Lanka, he also holds a National Diploma in Technology from University of Moratuwa and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Sampath Kurupita
Operations Director
Counting 20-plus years of construction industry experience across residential and commercial projects, Sampath carries a keen ability to nurture trustworthy relationships with clients through his reliable work and commitment.
As Operations Director, he manages the implementation of business guidelines and strategies while working closely with relevant authorities in obtaining necessary approvals, ensuring a conducive work environment and smooth operations across EMS Leisure. He parallelly displays extensive knowledge of residential and commercial project drawings and creating digital renderings of plans.
Anjela Ranasinghe
Head of Sales & Marketing
In a professional career spanning fifteen years, Anjela has progressively developed specialist expertise in diverse industries such as Real Estate, Construction, Media & Events, and IT & Cyber Security, demonstrating excellence across each environment.
With a reputation industry-wide for being exceptionally skilled in networking, relationship building, business development, sales & marketing and change management, her varied skill set is complemented by equally strong leadership qualities.
As the Head of Sales & Marketing, she draws on seven years of experience in real estate together with her exposure across wide-ranging business environments, in shaping a unique approach to real estate negotiations — a focus on educating clients on the ideal property purchase while impactfully marketing all projects.
Dinusha Ranasingha
Senior Group Accountant
Counting over 14 years of experience in Auditing and Finance across industries including FMCG, Engineering and Management Consulting, Dinusha carries strong academic and professional credentials in the disciplines of Business Management and Accounting.
While possessing a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Pearson International, he is also an Associate Member of AAT (The Association of Accounting Technicians). At present, Dinusha is completing the Strategic level of the CIMA Professional Qualification.
Saman Abeywickrama
Manager Administration & Operations
With extensive experience across the Construction Industry in areas such as Administration and Operations, Saman is a qualified professional with a hands-on approach to business administration. A Graduate of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, he holds a B.Sc in Business Administration (SP) Degree.
As Manager Administration & Operations, he overlooks the full spectrum of administrative and day-to-day operational functional requirements at EMS Leisure.
